So we couldn't stay away.  Andrew and I took off for the day and headed up to Sebastian to see Chase.  He's changed quite a bit in the last week (lol).  Chase and I bonded through a nap and Andrew took charge of play time!

Yay!!  Chase has arrived!  He is 9lbs 3oz and 21 inches long!  He is super cute and definitely going to be an athlete!!  I got to spend the weekend with the new threesome, and I must say Josh is going to be a great daddy!  Carrie is doing well after the C-Section and getting around with only a little pain.  He is a cuddly little guy!!

LOL... well no news to report here other than I'm going to be an Aunt again.  This is a pic from Carrie's baby shower, she is do September 4th!  I was just practicing holding babies!   We're excited about Chase Julian Chapman.  I think Josh is excited too!  In fact he is upside down about it!  As long as Carrie doesn't pop with these hurricanes all around us, we should be good!

Puppies!

Andrew has started paramedic school and I'm back off with a bang in the third nine weeks of my year.  Everything is school and puppies.  Since the puppies are way cuter than anything at school here are some good pics!

Holidays

We spent the Holidays in Alexandria, VA with Andrew's fam.  We were able to go for a week which was wonderful.  It didn't snow but it was quite cold.  I actually thought the trees with no leaves and the wintery days were beautiful (probably because I don't have to see them everyday).  Andrew's mom cooked lots of good Brazilian food and we ate all the time!
I finally got Andrew to take me into D.C.  to do some sightseeing.  Cristina and Travis went with us to help get us through the city.  It was crazy busy, as I imagine it usually is, so we didn't do a lot.  We went to the Lincoln Memorial, WWII Memorial and the Holocaust Museum.  I haven't been to D.C. since I was in fifth grade.  So it was cool to see it from an adult perspective actually knowing what some of these things represented.  The Holocaust Museum was different.  Its very quiet in there with four levels and hundreds of people.  If you read everything it would probably take you weeks.  Most things I walked through quickly because its hard to see and read.  I think the Museum did a good job accurately telling the story from beginning to end.
